Gramster Rant: The New Literary Terrorists

A chilling development has emerged from the UK's counterterrorism program "Prevent." They've released a list of writings and authors deemed potential terrorism risks, including CS Lewis, JRR Tolkien, George Orwell, and William Shakespeare. These literary giants are now labeled as potential triggers for "far-right extremism."

This isn't merely about literature - it's an attack on God's Word and truth itself. In the UK, we're already seeing the impact. Dr. Aaron Edwards, a Methodist Bible College teacher, was fired and threatened with being reported to Prevent for speaking biblical truth about homosexuality and its implications for the gospel message.

Satan's strategy is becoming clear: discredit the Bible by first discrediting the writers who have reinforced and encouraged belief in God's Word. The plans are much further along than what we see unfolding. These tentacles reach deep into unexpected places - who would have imagined CS Lewis being labeled dangerous by the UK government that once celebrated these authors as pillars of society?

This is why God repeatedly tells us to "fear not" - not just to feel better, but to have the courage to do what's right regardless of consequences. We need dissenting voices like William Wilberforce and Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. had been. If you're reading proven historical theologians like Lewis, Spurgeon, and Tolkien - keep reading them. Read them aloud, give them as gifts, expose your children and grandchildren to these writings. When lies come, they'll recognize truth.

Every generation needs those willing to be the dissenting voice. As Brad Stine said at the Higher Ground Conference: "You are the last truth tellers." Let these developments spur you on rather than make you fearful. Read these books, share these books, and be one of the last truth tellers.

Salvaged by God Deep Dive: AI and Your Calling

The rapid advancement of AI technology is raising serious concerns about authenticity and truth. Consider this recent incident: an international firm in Hong Kong lost $25.6 million after employees were fooled by deepfake technology during a video conference call. The scammers used AI to create convincing versions of company executives, including the CFO, instructing the transfer of funds.

This technology can now take publicly available video footage and create incredibly realistic fake representations. Junior high students have already learned to use AI to impersonate their principal's voice over school intercoms. We're entering an era where you can't trust what you see or hear.

This relates directly to our calling as believers in these uncertain times. Scripture warns us about deception in the last days, and we're seeing unprecedented capabilities for creating false realities. Yet our response must be grounded in truth and authenticity.

For those feeling crushed by their calling - whether ministering to the brokenhearted, healing God's little ones, or preaching the gospel - remember that the crushing is part of the process. Your calling will come with spiritual warfare and sifting, both necessary for your mantle to be authentic, humble, and powerful.

When feeling the weight of it, run to the Father who longs to be your comfort. Let Him whisper your true identity over you while resting under the shadow of His wings. Your identity isn't in how others perceive you or even in your calling - it's in being written in the Lamb's Book of Life.

Right On or Way Off?

"Man does not have a soul; he is a soul, he has a body." - CS Lewis RIGHT ON! This profound truth from Lewis captures the essence of our eternal nature. Our soul - our thoughts, emotions, and essence - is who we truly are. While our body is temporary, our soul remains forever. When you accept Christ, your spirit is sealed with His Spirit, and though your body will fail, your soul is secured for eternity.

"The Oklahoma lawmaker's bill allowing schools to contact Animal Control for students identifying as 'furries' is appropriate." RIGHT ON! While showing compassion is important, there comes a point where sanity must prevail. Capitulating to destructive ideologies has only emboldened them further. Schools need support in maintaining educational standards and reality-based policies.

"If you pervert the truth, you will soon be incapable of knowing what's true and what is false." RIGHT ON! As Spurgeon wisely noted, "If you persist in wearing glasses that distort everything, everything will be distorted to you." This spiritual principle explains much of today's confusion - when we reject truth, we lose the ability to recognize it.
